About Robert Luft
Robert was born and raised in Vancouver, and attended Royal Roads Military College, prior to attending Simon Fraser University to complete his studies in economics. He is a graduate of BCIT’s financial planning and management certification and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation attained through the Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC). Robert’s extensive financial education includes the Canadian Investment funds course, the Canadian Securities Course, the Conduct and Practices handbook, Hedgefund Essentials for Financial Professionals, as well as over thirty hours of continuing education annually. He is regularly invited to attend select investment conferences across North America. In addition to investment advisor services, he is fully licensed to help his clients with their risk management and insurance needs.
Through the Vancouver Wealth Management Institute he founded, Robert delivers numerous courses on financial planning and investing annually to the City of Vancouver, the City of Burnaby, the City of West Vancouver, ICBC, the Vancouver Police Department, and a number of private companies.
Robert has a specialized investment practice providing full service investment, estate, insurance, tax, cash flow and retirement advice. His team coordinates on client files to provide the most comprehensive advice to their clients.
Robert lives in North Vancouver with his wife Shannon, daughter Alexandra and son Massimo.
