Although many people consider Long Term care insurance as insurance meant for the elderly, it can actually be used by people at any age.
Many companies in the insurance industry are now phasing out of the Long Term Care insurance market. There are only a few companies that still offer this form of coverage, and even they are taking a look at whether or not they will continue to offer this coverage in the future. All policies that are currently in force, or applied for before the product is no longer offered, will continue to be grandfathered and unaffected.
If you are considering looking into Long Term Care insurance, you may want to do so sooner than later, before this form of coverage becomes history entirely.
